Peacock medallions, deep pink stones and drops of jade green, the full weight of a jadau set.

A row of round medallions, each with a pair of facing peacocks worked in fine relief, is ringed with sparkling pink stones and a thin edge of white. Between them stand small figures of the goddess, and tall conical golden spikes rise above each medallion, topped with a perched bird. Strings of green beads and pearls hang beneath every medallion, giving the lower edge a soft, swaying fringe. The matching jhumkas repeat the same peacock medallion, with a pink-stone border and a fall of green beads and pearls. The rich matte golden finish lets the pink and green stand out.
