Emerald green, the colour Meenakshi is worshipped in.

Five strands of faceted sea-green beads, separated by small golden spacers, fall in soft layers. Along the way they are gathered by oval green stones ringed with red. At the base, the goddess sits on her lotus between two peacocks, above a round filigree pendant with a deep wine-coloured stone at its heart and a fringe of pearls below. The matching jhumkas have a green stone ringed in red, an engraved golden bell and a pearl fringe. It falls gracefully over a silk saree, and the rich golden finish makes the green beads stand out.
