Satyabhama
It began with a pair of stolen earrings.
Narakasura had taken the earrings of Aditi, mother of the gods, and no one could stop him. So Satyabhama rode into battle beside Krishna. When an arrow brought Krishna down, she didn’t wait to be rescued. She rose, took up his bow, and ended the battle herself.
Her victory is celebrated every year as Naraka Chaturdashi, the day before Diwali.
When she returned the earrings to heaven, no one offered her even a single blossom of the parijata, its most treasured tree. She didn’t settle for a blossom. She asked for the whole tree.
Rise when the moment calls. Ask for everything you’re worth. Satyabhama did both. So will you.
Made for the puja, the party, the pitch, and everything this season asks of you.
Satyabhama by Moonelle. Rise to every occasion.
