Mayilvahanam

A procession of peacocks in every link, framing the goddess at the temple’s door.

Carved golden peacocks link end to end along the full length of the haaram, each one finished in a soft matte glow with small pink and green stone accents scattered through. They lead to a dense centrepiece: two circular medallions in pink and green kemp-style stonework flank a pillared shrine where the goddess sits enthroned, more peacocks curling around her on every side, with pearl and jade drops falling from the base. The matching jhumkas carry the goddess stud above a domed bell with a pearl and green bead fringe. A matching maang tikka, with its own small goddess-and-peacock medallion, completes the set.
