Each framed golden link holds the goddess seated on a lotus, with a pair of oval red or green stones beneath her. The links run down to a grand pendant where two peacocks meet above the goddess on her lotus throne, with fine scrollwork, a row of red and green stones and a fringe of golden bead drops. The matching earrings repeat the peacocks and framed goddess and end in a small golden drop. At 23.5 cm long, it sits beautifully over a silk saree, and the rich golden finish gives it the glow of a family heirloom.
