Gopuram

A temple tower, carved in gold, worn at the throat.

The pendant rises like a gopuram’s stepped tower, densely set with sparkling white stones, with the goddess seated inside a carved niche below, framed by pillars and a scalloped border of pink stones. The collar is built from peacock-and-leaf motifs, each edged in the same sparkling white stones, with small pink and green accents scattered through. A single flower medallion sits at the centre of the chain, just above the pendant. Clusters of jade beads and pearls hang along the full length. The matching jhumkas carry a peacock finial above a domed, stone-set bell with the same jade and pearl fringe. The rich matte golden finish lets the white stones catch the light from every angle.
